May is bladder cancer awareness month

The World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition hosts this special month to raise awareness of the disease. The theme of this year’s edition “Feeling unsure? Get checked.is to bring attention to the misrepresentation of symptoms and to encourage people to re-evaluate their symptoms [1]. In fact, some symptoms are not immediately linked to bladder cancer.

Help us to create awareness

Take your time this month to reach out to your patients with bladder cancer and spark conversations with your colleagues and friends to raise awareness about the importance of an early diagnosis.

You can also participate in and support the bladder cancer awareness month campaign by using the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition toolkit on the awareness month page.

Additionally, you can find more initiatives and simple ways to get involved on the webpage of Fight Bladder Cancer.
